CONTEMPORARY CERAMIC ARTIST

GALLERY

BIO

Antokso is the artistic project of Antonio Sciortino (Switzerland, 1978), a ceramic artist living and working between Milan and Tuscany. After studying in Florence and spending time in Japan with master Setsuro Shibata, he deepened his knowledge of the Raku technique and the wabi-sabi philosophy: the beauty of the imperfect, the transient, and the irregular, which became the foundation of his research. In his works, matter bends, implodes, and layers with pigments and shades, giving life to unique forms born from the encounter between gesture and chance. Each piece is the result of a dialogue with earth and fire, where technique becomes a tool to shape a personal and contemporary language.
